Anybody have any pictures of stock ws6 wheels powder coated. I can get the poweder coating for free by my girlfriends parents thats why I dont want to spend money on buying new wheels. I want to see how they look first though

Are you asking about a colored wheel or something that simulates chrome? I had a Talon a few years back with American Racing wheels. After the original clearcoat peeled, we blasted and powdercoated the rims a dark gray. They looked great and held up well until the car was sold a few years after.

If your existing wheels are simply clearcoated aluminum, and not chrome, you can not beat the look of polished aluminum. Strip off the clear and polish them -- it's a lot of work but the results are stunning if done correctly.

Not a problem imo. My brother ran a powdercoating business for 7 or 8 years and did all sorts of rims. Just need to have the work performed by a reputable shop. The nice thing about black is that if you get a ding or chip somehow you can easily touch it up.

I have had powdercoated rims on both of my birds. Be careful what color you get done, and what cleaners you use on them as well as some can easily eat through the clearcoat. www.fquick.com/lwcs561

ws6 wheels look killer done in black, it shows off the shape of them better imo,

leave the rim chrome/machined for a nice touch.
