SS hood scoop mod
On my fathers car, aside from the flared fenders seen on another thread, I also modified the hood scoop. The plastic grill has been taken out, and scoop fiberglassed to transition nicely without it. Also, the top of the scoop is about a 1/4" taller towards the front as seen in the side profile pics.

Looks good! I personally prefer them with the grille in, but I really like the taller scoop.

Very clean job. I also prefer the grille, but the hood looks great.

We like the look. It took a second for us to notice as we saw our fantastic facial hair in shiny paint. We thought it was a mirror at first.

That looks great when you say 1/4" taller do you mean where the hood goes under the manta?
