    Smoked parking lights

Does anybody make smoked or tinted front parking lenses for WS6's? I tried ebay, and all they have are clear ones. To be clear, I'm not talking about the side markers, but the DRL orange ones.

I'm not too thrilled about tinting them myself, so if someone knows who might offer these, that would be great. Thanks!

It is. Go to Autozone or some auto parts store and buy the "VHT Night Shade" rattle can for about $5 and go to town... Plus side is that you can decide how dark you want them

It is very easy. And you can remove the light bulbs at the same time.

I guess I could give it a try. I was thinkin about doing it to the taillights eventually. I was looking at those black covers, but it covers up the honeycomb pattern. So with the VHT, you'll still be able to see through it during the day right?

yes, they will just be a darker tinge obviously..

and my opinion on the taillights, we have some of the coolest taillights ever made, why cover them up?

Yes, just do a light shade. You can also pick up a rattle can with clear and give them a coat with that so they'll still be shiny and not dull Did that to my 98 and they look pretty good

I totally agree with you, that's why I only wanted to put a light coat on it. Just enough to know that it's tinted, but not too much and cover up that bad ass pattern.

And I figure if I'm gonna black out all of the other lenses on the car, might as well show the taillights some attention =)

Do the parking light lenses separate from light casing? Like, are there screws that I can loosen to just take the lense out instead of the whole light assembly?

    ebay does sell them.

But the VHT is a cheaper way to go about it. Plus, you get the level of tint you want.

no, you have to take the 'whole' assembly out, which isnt really that much, just two 10mm screws in the back, take the black headlight covers off for the best access, although some people like to do it from the bottom..

I have a set on my car the drl covers have been fine for the last 4 years but one of my fog light covers fell off. They don't snap into place or anything they just fit kinda tight in the opening and I guest from the heat of the fog lights they loose some of their shape.
I bought another set and they've been on for two years.
