    Small Tint Problem

Did anyone have a problem with their tint on the upper rear window heating element ? My doesn't want to stay stuck to it and appears to be very light on the outside. Any one else have this problem or have suggestions on how to fix it?

You can kind of see it here. I didn't take any pictures to show it very well.

You could either sand down the bumps, or go back to your tint shop and tell them to replace the tint with a vinyl strip. It's not in your viewing area, so the best thing to do would be to use the vinyl.

I used black vinyl. its hard to get it to stick, takes a TON of rubbing and heating.

of course, you could always mask it, and spray some paint on there too.

if i ever do another one, im gonna paint it.

Maybe it is the tint??? I don't know who put the tint on my hatch that I have or what kind it is, but it is completely sticking on without any use of vinyls or w/e

The tint won't stick to the little dots on the back glass. Mine does the same thing. Vinyl will solve the problem. Like I said, it's not in you eye line, so vinyl will fix the eye soar.

Hmm maybe I should look more closely at mine to see if it was done that way...
