Should I paint my air lid ?

I was cleaning on my engine the other day with some de-greaser and wipe off the air-lid and the SLP letters came right off.

Should I leave it all black, paint it a different color or put some type of badge or maybe LS1 on it ? Any ideas ?

I have some red CAMARO letters I could put on it

About 3 years---I accumulated stuff a little at a time because of the cost

If you look at other albums , you can see the changes over the years

I decided to go with gloss black. I am also painting the base for the lid in gloss back. I have it done just gotta let it dry then re-install.
