Shit PINE SAP!?>!?!?!
Damn....I got big blots of pine sap all over my car....I washed it and cant get it off.....any hints or tips on how to get it off?
I srubbed and scrubbed and it wont come off........I used rain-ex wash on it and it didnt do a fuckikng thing against i.......anyone help?

Well, you probably don't want to try this, I know I wouldn't, but my dad gets sap all over his truck from a tree over his driveway, he found the best way to get it off is to CAREFULLY scrape it off with a razor blade.
I thought he was nuts when he told me, but it actually worked. I don't know if I'd have the guts to try it though.

use 100% pure eucalyptus oil. will come off right away with no strain and wont damage paint work glad i could help out

at one of your local chick shops, you know the ones where they sell all soughts of different oils for burning, inscense etc etc. we get it in a 100mls bottle here.

rubbing compund then some polish casue it tends to strip off the wax but is still good for paint.
but there is also a bug a tar remover out there

A clay bar will remove tree sap. Just make sure the surface stays good and wet when using the bar.

i tried the clay bar and it only works with the tiny bits of sap. no go with the big drops of sap. use the oil i reccomended

WD-40 will also work. Just have to give a good wash to get the oil film off.
