Question Shaved and popped doors on an f-body

Who knows what materials/ process to use? I'm finding many body shops in my area won't do the work or they tell me they will begin cracking very soon. I understand the doors are made of polyurethane allowing them to flex and vibrate causing them to crack over time. One guy is offering me a 2 year warranty on his work, he plans to fill them with a peice of plastic, then using kitty hair, and smoothing out the surface. I hear Kitty hair will only bond to fiberglass though?

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a fourth gen with shave door handles.

I've only seen one Camaro with SOM (I think it was SOM paint) do something like this. He did his key holes and the area where the antena is/was. Looked very clean!! His pics of his car should be on this board somewhere...

Thanks for replying folks. I truly appreciate it. I'm sure you all know how annoying it is to post a question and not have any replies in like a week. What's SOM? I have located a body shop that will be doing my paint, misc body work, and shaving the doors. They say they actually use fiberglass. I didn't know that was possible (but then what do I know?) The work is also warrantied for 5 years. Bit expensive though at $400 a door. What do you guys think?

Sunset Orange Metalic (one of my favorite colours).

Sounds about right. Seems like a decent price. If I lived in Cali., I'd ask you where you were going and have that done to mine !
