Replacing a crappy billet grille...
I bought the grille shown on the pics on eBay about 2 years ago, soon after installation it started to "rust". Maybe it's not even rust but some residual chemicals from the manufacturing process. After it started to attack the car paint (luckily no permanent damage), i had to remove the grille.
I really liked the look of that grille, so i want to get a same/similar looking one without the "rust" problem. I'd like to get a Stull grille (which people seem to like), but i want to be 100% sure that my crappy grille really is some cheap imitation.
So, can someone confirm that the grille shown on the pics is NOT a Stull grille?
Or are there similar looking grilles that are of even better quality? The car is parked outside all year, even when it rains or snows...
The culprit
Instructions that came with it
"Rust" on the ground of the parking space
Rust or chemicals?
The black plastic also has quality problems
Wasn't it silver when i got it?
