    removing "z28" badges

    whats the best/safest way? heat gun then lightly pull them off?

    wanting to replace them w/1st generation "z/28" decals until i find actual "badges".

    Yup. I just took off my Trans Am door emblems. Just heat up enough to get them to peel up. Mine actually pulled most of the glue as well. If you heat too much, the glue will seperate and half will stay on the car and half on the emblem. Not a big deal either way. I used 3M adhesive remover to clean it up and gave it a quick buff. Never know they were there!!!

    +2 just go slow when your peeling the emblem off so that you get most of the glue and not leave much on the car.

    you can can use the heat gun if you have one, will make things much easier. but if you dont use fishing line and that should do the work. either way work slow.

    hair dryer, plus 3m adhesive remover.

    i used a hair-dryer and my thumb. followed up with WD-40 to remove the left over adhesive, then waxed the area...
