    Red on Pewter

Everybody knows that I have a pewter T/A but I was wondering how would red brake calibers would look on a pewter car? I pictured it but I wasn't sure about how it would look

I think it would look fine as long as you don't do other appearance mods that conflict with it. Like doing stripes that are a totally different color.

Are you planning to stick with red as your primary accent color?

Red calipers look good on any color. Kinda like blue jeans, you can wear them with anything.

If this is your plan, I say go with it.

Matches well with tail lights, side markers and addition mods.

I'd go alittle darker red, don't do a "candy apple," IMO.

Candy apple actually looks great with pewter IMO.

I might just do the calipers black since I already did the CETA mod, painted the sail panel black, have the blackbird stripes(which are coming off soon)but I just didn't want the red to clash I might just have to paint one caliper red & see if I like it

I just painted my caliper brackets black, and the calipers themselves red. And mine is pewter. I love it. And you can't get away from red, all the suspension pieces come in red. And a suggestion, dont get the kit for your calipers that has a brush. Get spray paint,a bottle of brake parts cleaner for each caliper, and take them off the car. That stupid brush. Stupid, stupid brush.

The duplicolor kit that comes with a brush works and looks good there have been plenty of people who have used that kit and it looks great. But I do believe you need to get a different brush than the one supplied.

The paint was all streaky cause it was so thick, and dried so quickly. I painted my headers with higher temp spray paint the next day,(VHT) and those turned out way easier, and looked better. Next time, spray paint FTW!
