Rattle Canned My SS Hood...
With Plasti Dip!
Wanted to get a feel for how the decal would look so i masked it out and layed down a coat of plasti dip

I like it. I was going to do this with my car but decided to do the manta stripe on the hood. Have you thought about having it actually painted as opposed to just buying the decal?

Having it painted would be the next step after the decal. I would hate to look at itweeks from now and wish I hadn't done it. Also have the dilemma of whether to make it matte or glossy.

Yea I can understand that. I would personally do it glossy. I am not a fan of the matte. I'm sure you remember when I had mine done in matte and it looked like crap. Originally Posted by tatertot91

Dont remember that but definitely like it better glossy. Ill try the manta next week, maybe put a little spin on it
Not crazy about the manta on som though

I like it here, I'm too far south though. Cost of living sucks here, gas, insurance, etc. all much cheaper a little further north
