Question on changing rear spoilers on a '95 T/A
Can I change mine out?
I have the decklid that hugs the trunk no opening.
I would like the raised spoiler. It looks to me as if I would have to change
the whole back trunk assembly for that. Any advice would
be appreciated.

one of them is just bolted to the deck lid, and one of them is a solid piece with the decklid, you van't interchange without changing the entire deck lid

yeah, you have to change the whole hatch.

Not to hijack your thread BUT...I have a convertable and hate my spoiler...it's basically an extended trunk lid. I love the bat wing spoiler on the late model hard tops. Has anyone put one on a vert? How would you do it?

it's been done. Looks ugly IMO, or at least the way this one was executed. To look good, it would require major fabrication of a new deck lid. This is Show stoppa trans am's vert.
