Gas from the adhesive seeps through the roof panel, and comes from under the paint, This is why the original roof panel must go. no matter how many times you "repaint" it will come back.
The "new urethane" is a different type. and the new panel will be primed on all surfaces, even underneath. Get the paint job to match, and you are ready to drive again.

Expect a $900.00 bill for this job. I know, because I had it done.

    Thanks, Roger
Yeah I know. I was gonna get Koni's instead and drive another summer with the bubbling roof. Mine's bubbling fairly good even on the sides as well.

The paint bubbles will exactly follow the path that the original urethanne adhesive was applied with. Even down the sides of the sail panel.
There is a technical service bulletin, that tells the dealership exactly how to repair this probelm. Basically what I summarized earlier.

    Thanks, Roger

I understand that, I actually have a copy of the bulletin. Now it's just a matter of koni's or new roof
