Pulled Over For No Front Tag In WI.
Like the title says I got pulled over for the second time for not haveing a front plate on the Z. This time the pooper trooper gave me a writen warning so I need to put my plate on. I need suggestions on where to put it. Should I just go with the stock location in the middle, or some place diffrent? Please help I hate the way the front plate looks when it is on.

I had a warning back in spring for not having one and still don't. I want one the ones that mount under and you can pull them up or retract them.

I was stopped for speeding when I got my warning. I've never been stopped for just the plate but have gotten looked at many times.

I think it all depends on the cop. I live in Chicago and gotten 2 $75 tickets within 6 months of buying my T/A for not having the front plate on. Also herd storys of other T/A owners getting a ticket for having it up on there dash and even one guy had it mounted under the front bumper right behind the raditor. Cop gave them tickets and wrote on the ticket improperlly displayed front plate. So unless you can afford $75 every couples months for not having your plate on then I'd go for it. If not I know it looks like crap on there but they can give you a ticket for having it mounted anywhere except right in the front of the bumper.

I was thinking of putting it on the air dam but after reading that I could still get a ticket for improperlly displayed front plate I dont think I will do that. I think I am going to get the mount from afterthoughtsauto.

What do you guys think of it?

Putting a front plate anywhere on these cars takes away from the look. Pennsylvania is good for something, haha.

Go to Ninosport, com and get yourself a retrackable licence holder. I love mine.

Yes they are, but when you are warned more than once, the cost of a retractable licence holder is cheaper than tickets or a lawyer.
The nice thing about the retractable, during cars shows and states that do not require 2 licence plates, you can hide it and no one will know the difference.
I have the black billet grille with the blue bowtie in the center and this works extemely well for me.
