Progress pics on the CME setup
The first picture shows the valence how I received it. It has been sanded, primered, sanded some more and ready to be pewterized now
I still have to get the tips repaired and powdercoated, thats the last holdup and their is a good chance the tips will be repaired Friday or over the weekend.
I am debating on painted the GMMG in a high temp silver or black color, just haven't made up my mind on the matter yet. I am very anxious to get this on Camaro and post installed pics

this is gonna be a sweet mod preston. those are becoming scarce and im happy for you that you snagged one!
the gmmg is extremely nice sounding! i still cannot believe though that within the community such a fuss is made about that little valance. crazy.
i dont know, i love your car the way it is man. but this will give it a more streamlined look and have the noise to boot.
gonna be impatiently waiting for these results....
how much is the pewter paint by the way...
ya know, just wondering....

I got the tips welded today, so just powdercoating them and painting the valence now.

IIRC, a pint of the pewter metallic paint runs about $30. Its been a while since I bought some so I might be wrong though. It is hard to believe that the valence and tips run so expensive. Originally Posted by secondgearscratch

You can't order them anywhere. I bought it from someone who had it. I bought the entire SLP setup(catback, valence, tips), just chose not to use the catback. Originally Posted by SAGGIN

just a suggestion, have them re-weld the tips. they should sit smooth on the ground, no angled. also, for better reinforcement of the inital single weld, have them do a bar behind that one farther back...
like this...
