    Price for new paint?

Anybody have some ballpark figures for a nice quality respray of the same color? I was guessing around $2,000 or $2,500. What do you guys think?

I had a fellow here in Nashville tell me he would charge me $7000. That is if I supplied the House of color paint and House of color clear. He said they pull out all the glass, all the weather stripping, and wheels. They would paint inside door jams, clear every square inch of the car. This would also take 1 month to do. He assured me that for this price it would ba a show quality paint job. There is a WHOLE LOT I can do with 7000 bucks besides paint. Mine still looks new thanks to my Zaino Addiction. I bet it would look good though. HP>paint

As a professional painter I can tell you that the $ 2,000 - $ 2500 is right on the dot for a refinish of the same color. If you change colors, as someone kinda pointed out, you then have to paint the door jambs, trunk jambs, hood jambs and preferably the firewall and inner fenders ( must have motor and all wiring, hosing removed). The $7,000 to paint the House of Colors car someone mentioned is also about right although we provide the paint and clear for that price. You WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!

Its about right. I paid $2400 for a repaint same color. You can get less but I don't think you will get quality.
