    Polishing center mount exhaust?

    my center mount exhaust is pitch black... it's pot metal.. what can I do to sand or shine it up or at least get back to a clean surface to it looks more appealing again?

    I use SOS pads, there steel wool pads, and u can get them with soap on them. I use them to get the black carbon build up off.. and finish off with an old washrag with soap.. it works good for me, btw u can get SOS pads at walmart, in the house cleaning section.
