Polished fuel rail

This is a discussion on Polished fuel rail within the Appearance Section forums, part of the General Help category; I don't think the powerball will work on this....

    speaking of polishing. I ordered a MBA billet idler pully and got it in today. while i was taking the old one off i decieded to take the pully bracket off and polish it out. sanded all the casting marks and numbers off with my dremel and polished it out. i didnt spend alot of time on it but it looks pretty good. i dont have any pics becuase my digicam is over a a freinds house. I also installed a MBA billet traciton control cover as well today.

    I have not got to use my dremel yet...how good does it polish ???

    it polishes great but you have to have it smooth to get it to look right. sometimes it requires lots of sanding.

    What is the black thing on the drivers side fenderwell by the fuse relay boxes with the black cable?

    under the brake booster? alarm wire and alarm box....the black cable thats right against the fender..i dunno, i thought all cars had it..

    In that picture, directly to the right of the ABS box. I have never seen that black box before. The cable against the fender is the hood release cable and all cars do have it as you mentioned, unless its been hid

    I am just about done polishing my fuel rail. What did you all coat it with to keep it from corroding? Clear coat? Wax?
