Painting rear bumper!!

Just wondering if anyone has painted that bottom half of their bumper black themselves...how did it look? What methods? What products? Pictures and any info on the best way to do it would be nice!!!!

Seeing how you're from Pampa, I'd call Chris Thompson and have him do it.

Taped off the lines, used a red scrotchbrite pad and 1000 grit sandpaper to scuff the paint really good, masked it up, shot it with black paint followed by a clearcoat. I also put a pinstripe along the edge so it wouldn't just end in a dead line. Sets it off pretty good IMO. Also, I am not a huge fan of using matte black when then rest of the vehicle is shiny. Just doesn't blend well to me.

No he runs a towing company in town and does paint on the side. He painted my hood.
