    Painting Ls6 Intake

I just an LS6 intake and I won't be installing it anytime soon so I figured I would paint it to make it look a little better. My question is... what is the proper way to prepare it for paint? Also what is the best paint to use on it? Does it have to be a high heat paint?

I used duplicolor paint adhesion promoter, primer & paint.

1st - I sanded off the rough areas and tried to make as smooth as I could. At the least ruff the plastic so the adhesion promoter/primer/paint have something to grab.

2nd - spray 3 coats (read the can instructions) of adhesion promoter, then 2 light coats of primer, 1 medium.

3rd - sprayed 2 light coats followed by 2 medium coats of paint

    did my FRC's as well

I've been working on mine here and there and I finished it yesterday. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

For some reason it won't let me post pictures I'll try later
