its only rice if you do a cheesy job and it looks like you have three brain cells. i think black would look better (safer choice) unless maybe ya had some red SFC's. also you could paint the center of rotors too. my buddy has a white/orange striped camaro--he painted his orange and it looks real clean, especially while rollin.
2000 red ss: >2" drop, koni adjustables 'n 275 s-compounds all way around, giant brakes, dynatech LT's, borla catback (no plate), t56, tubular everything, HARD TOP, caged, "stock" heads 'n a mean cam. -2* front camber.

well dont let me talk ya out of it i'm real conservative when it comes to this kinda stuff. actually as it seems you are. paint 'em red like your first instinct and if ya dont like it scuff up the paint and re-paint 'em black. really if you had some red sfc's stickin down it would be no question.

I say go for it. I painted mine with the caliper paint for autozone, i left them on the car (didnt disconnet the rubber line) just sanded them down and sprayed them. it was time consuming took me a few days bc i would do one one day, then do another one the next day lol. Its holding up good so far about 8 or 9 months or so, daily driver lol.
Just i wish i would of taken the time to take the brackets off behind the caliper and polished/painted them too. Yeah the inside of the rotor looks good too, i didnt do that part either lol.

when i do my rear brakes im going to paint mine white because the rims are black with polished aluminum lip and i like my whole black and white theme i got going on with the car. the only thing is i dont know if i wanna do some of the caliper stickers that say camaro. more than likely im not going to but who knows it might look good.

I think you should paint them (along with the center and outside edges of the rotors)...there's nothing like some rusty rotors/weathered calipers to really hurt the look of some nice rims. I haven't done mine yet, but only because I have to get new pads & rotors soon, so I'm waiting until then to paint mine. Personally, I think I'm going to go with Black paint...should look good with the Pewter body....

red looks so much better on black. But i cant make a decision on whether red would look good on silver on regular ws6 wheels.
