once there painted put these on
This is a set of 2 decals. These are made to fit the LT1 and LS1 front brake calipers. They are curved to fit perfectly. It is highly recommended these are installed immediately after painting or polishing your calipers so they will stick and stick good! If you don't wish to paint or polish your calipers then you must clean your calipers very good before installing these. They will not stick with brake dust still on calipers!

In the process of doing a giant brake job right now. Have the paint on the fronts completed, used high temp spray paint, thin layers, and a few tricks, here's how they turned out:

Clean the calipers real good, Tape off surrounding area's to prevent over spray and goto town.
I just used some high temp caliper spray paint and it turned out great.

just pick up any high temp engine enamel, color of your choice. and pick up a can of high temp engine enamel clearcoat. and believe me, this will look good. i did mine red, on a black car, looks sharp.

+1 on the spray in the cap and brush on, i never thought of that, it would probably make a better finish. i hate spraypaint.

Mask around the caliper with aluminum foil and you don't have to take it off.

I dont see paying $40 for high temp paint I had mine painted some time ago, took it off about a year ago, and I just took off each wheel and tape, with newspaper, the rotor and preped. Didnt take to long I know I've seen some guys on here with lettering on the caliper as well.

$40? I don't know where you're looking, but I got a can of VHT Caliper spray paint for $7.

I used this kit and it came out great. It is a brush on kit with a hardener that needs to be added to the paint. I did this about a year ago, and it still looks like I just did it yesterday.
