Painted my brake calipers/rotors today

The calipers will be fine but I doubt the rotors will hold up. Its only a 200 degree max paint. But @ $8 a quart I have plenty left over to do it again when I need to. We shall see how long it last. They were rusted up some also b4 painting them. This will help them from rusting again. If it last 6 months I will be happy with that.

Your calipers look really good. Looks like you took the time to sand them down before you painted. Well worth the effort.
The duplicolor I used on my caliper brackets and old rotors worked great.. no rust thru and it held up to the heat. You might look into it if they fail from the temperatures, but I doubt they will unless you race/auto X

Thanks.......it took a while to sand and I put 3 coats of paint on them. I am pretty easy on the brakes, maybe every once in a while I race but only a short run on a straight no curves.

I used that kind of paint and it has held up for 5 years
