paint code for silver '98 camaro?

If anyone knows or has a '98 camaro z28 silver, I need to get the paint code.
The chip books have 3 different codes for '98 GM.
Which one is for the camaro?
Any help would be great.... Jim

I would take it to a place that has a color scanner so that they give you an exact match. My friend used just the paint code on his front bumper... and when it was finished the shades didn't match! Apparently paint color shifts a shade or two over time/weather. So I would have it scanned to avoid that problem.

go to your local Auto Zone. Go to the paint section. They will have the touch up paint "Scratch and fix". There little reference book will tell you the different colors for your camaro. If you do not see it, go to the front of the book it will show you were to find it on your door. I just recently found mine. It is code number GM 8774, which is bright red. hope that helps
