    Outside side door moldings

The side door moldings are faded. They were silver but now its more yellowish...I was just going to remove them completely. Anyone ever seen how this looks? Have pictures? I don’t think it will mess with the body line. Ideas? Suggestions?

    PS. I have a silver 99 WS6

That is a member named Stretch's TA. That's a basic idea of how it would look.

yep i just took mine off last week... some lady hit me and broke the driver side and scraped the molding on the front fender so i decided to remove it..

idk if you have any special things to take it off, but it was extremely hard for me.

the moldings and letters weren't too bad to take off, but the glue underneath..

tried wd-40, hot water, hair dryer, pb blaster, nothing even effected it.. only way i could get it off was just getting my thumb nail under it and peeling it off... took about an hour and a half, but i had help..
