ok so i took them all off... looks kick ass 1 problem.... the driver side rear quarter molding... the damn thing bubbled a perfect outline of the molding in the clear coat. and turned that clear coat light brown.... so here im frekain out and tryign to make it look better... i take a really light abrasive polish cream on my finger and lightly go around the perimeter... well where the clear coat was missing i was rubbing on bare paint and have on the bottom stripped it to primer!!!!!! wtf!!!!!!!!!! you guys think a body shop can sand this tiny area down repaint it and fade it good enough to make it appear bone stock??? how much$$ would you guess??

really bummed out tell me some good news!!!

its actually quite easy, dental floss + hair dryer + patience.....took me about 45 minutes each side....

Something to do on a day off tho...

Don't know guys..... On my car it seem like it would be too bland since I don't have the big wing and I have simplified it so much.... What do you guys think?

I like the moulding and helps keep your door from getting the paint chipped

Thanks for your guys feedback.... Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's looks better with it on in my case.... the car is so plain without it... almost too clean. I do like the extra protection I get. If I'm parked next to a car it does work. If it's a SUV or Truck not. So, I try to park next to cars when I can.

I think Mr. Luos posted earlier in the thread... Dental floss and blow drier or heat gun. I have used blow drier and fishing line with great success. Just clean up with lighter fluid ... then soap and water down the area and apply wax is what I do.

i grabbed mine with some pilers with the two setting slide thingy and set it on the wider setting.... grabbed the end lifted slightly and pulled straight to the rear of the car slowly, bending the molding substantionly, makin sure i went slow enough to make all the sticky stuff went off with the molding as opposed to rolling it off with a finger.... that starts to get old after a while..

i used bug and tar remover for clean up but i wont hesitate to use gas to get adhesive goo off...
