the answer to this is on LS1tech... he used a GM sail panel to mold so what I have read there good to go. I will be getting one when my sail panel gets worth.

I've been thinking about doing mine in black carbon..

Then again I'm thinking of dong the whole car in carbon

It would be nice if someone came up with a way to remove the old one without breaking it..

But the panel by itself is very flimsy..

I'd like to use the old piece as a mold for carbon.

Rather than buying an ~ $500 panel for a mold then not using the piece again..

    We'll see how it goes..

I'll be using the roller camaro I got for most of the panel mold work..

Which will destroy it.. The sail on the roller has a huge crack running from about the passenger window to about mid roof..

But yeah it won't leave my shop without the body being in spec..
