I have no relays and 2 ebay kits in my TA fo 2 yrs ans one over 3yrs old in my trailblazer and none have relays and work great. Make sure the ballast is fastened down good and not banging around. When I put my new headlight motor in I took out the ballast and forgot to remount iit and after banging around for 5k miles it died but that was just tired installer error. Never had an issue before or since. I have more issue with factory parts than my hids. Stupid flipups and window motors. I wanna dam C6 or maybe a SS and just drive the TA during the day so I don't have to worry about motors. Windows up and AC cranked.1998 Trans Am 85k miles.
