New Headlight Help
Long story short, my car is in the body shop with some front end damage, and the body shop guy is pretty much letting me pick out my own replacement parts....so I'm shopping
Headlights are all i need help with
It had black halos, the halos didn't work
I saw the halos the WS6 store has, and I like them, but I I dont know how to wire them up, at all, lol. They also have the projectors, I REALLY like this, but do they require anything special to hook up?
There's also much cheaper headlights on Ebay, but I'm scared of pretty much anything aftermarket from Ebay.
I should just do factory replacements....

i would go back to stock. In my case, they reflect better for HID's, aim better, fitment is better and they are much more reliable. my halos broke the first day, the mount stripped. You can always do the whistler mod.
The halos are easy to wire, i spliced mine into the driving lights. or you can wire them like foglights, power, ground, and load into a switch in the dash.Last edited by JacobLS1; 03-16-2012 at 04:11 PM.

If you have one good lense, I will sell you my 2 whistler lights for cheap. One has a perfect lense. The other lense is shit but with work you can fix it (small scratch/foggy), or if you have a better lense switch em up.
PM me if you want pictures and what notSuspension: Lower control arms (Spohn), Drive shaft safety loop, Torque arm (Edlebrock), Strut tower brace, Panhard Bar (BMR)
Under the Hood: Smooth bellows, Lid, Catch can, LT Headers, ORY, AIR/EGR delete, Poly engine/transmission mounts,
Exterior: Painted brake calipers (Red), Halo “Spyder” Headlights w/matching parking/turn signals (Black)

as bad as I want Halos, or projectors, I'm more concerned with fitment and function.
After a little research i see the 6LE sells brand new, OEM lights, already whistlered (probably better than i can do) for $275....sounds good to me

halo's
I would keep the halos, you come out cheaper. I have halo's off eBay and I still haven't had a problem. Just realize when shipped to you they come at the closes setting which makes them difficult to install. Also I wire my halo's and LCD's with the fog lights. Everybody gives me compliments about them.
