My SOMs Interior - Ebony Leather and Ostrich
Well as most of you know I have been working on this for a couple months now. I tried to come up with something that was very exotic but not outlandish. The car is a show car and to compete at some of the national shows we go to a full custom interior is a must...not just off the shelf stuff. I wanted...like the theme of the car...to keep things stock appearing and just upgrade them (thus the use of stock WS6 seats instead of racing seats or whatever.) The ostrich is either a love it or hate it thing...I have always loved the way it looks and wanted to incorporate it into the interior to give it that little something that nobody else is going to have. I think it turned out perfect and I am very pleased with it. Most of the stuff is still so new it has wrinkles still in it but that will work out in time.
Of course much more info and tons more pics of the car can be seen in this thread:

Great looking car, inside and out. Needs a short-shifter though

Thanks guys...a lot of work and planning went into it to try to get it right!
Trust me had I wanted a short shifter in it I would have one but I like the looks and feel of the factory Hurst shifter much better. If you notice the stock Hurst stick has been chromed. (Infact I have short stick I put in for about 5min and didnt like if anybody is looking for one.)

Looks good. The colored stitching really makes it look higher end. Nice touch doing the shifter boot. Did you do the headliner too?

Did you upgrade the leather? Obviously its new and different style but did you upgrade the quality. I hate the plastic leather stock comes with

Like I said, its a love it or hate it thing. And I love it...
Yes, its actually....LEATHER. The only real leather on the factory seats is the perferated part in the center. These are must softer and smell great!
Nah, its a wacin' car....vrooom vroooooom. Thats why I used ostrich, its from a bird so it has to weigh less than something from a cow!!! And we all know I am about weight savings in my wacin' car....vrooom vrooooooom....
(BTW how is your car coming...getting it back together? You should try to make Pigeon Forge next month!)

I live in a small town named Ashland. It is in Clay County if that can help you find it on a map. LOL
Takes me about an hour and a half to get to ATL.

Beautiful car!
I had red leather inserts installed on my factory Camaro seats, but this thread really makes me want to completely redo them. If I do ever do them again, it'll be with TA seats and suede. I'm really digging the dark look and colored stitching on yours!
Also, where did you get the armrest cover? I found a place online selling them once, but I'd really like to make my own with some leftover leather I have so it matches the seats...
