my new painted ls6
Knock sensors went out so i upgraded to the ls6- figured id paint it beforehand also to go with my silver and red theme i got going. Turned out nice- kinda different with the silver stripes but not to crazy. This was my 1st performance mod, so i dont even have a lid yet--its coming tho- just showing it off a little

It looks great man, they did a good job on painting it now you need to get you an intake, I would probably paint the lid to match it if I were you.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
Looks great I painted mine, but didn't have the patients to sand it smooth. Later on when I do a LS6 engine swap I'll take it off and sand it right.
I like the powder coating of the TB idea.

update
Well i finally got around to putting my lid on. Im not all the way done cause i want my slp letters to be red also but heres a look after i got it put on- with my red smooth bellow. On a side note- i expected better fitment from slp- i had to do so much BS to get this thing on, even the smallest thing like inserting the plug in the side to block the air hole was SO hard because the hole was to small. I figured id have this on in minute- man was i wrong!?! o well its on now- What-cha think of my bellows?

why is it that you have a plug in there and I have a hose plugged into mine that routes around to the drivers side, over top the master cylinder and back to the engine??? what is that?2002 WS6 M6, SLP Intake, MAF, Strut Tower Brace, Borla Exhaust.
