    My New Houndstooth Seats

I wanted to freshen up my interior a bit so I had my stock seats re-done and installed red/black houndstooth inserts.

6litereater wanted the same look on his racing seats, so I gave him some of my left over houndstooth material...

You should. Remember...the Bergers, Yenkos, Nickeys, and Baldwin Motion cars all used houndstooth interior, if I recall.

    S86, nice lookin interior dude.

Please do. I got the idea from a '69 I saw here in Burbank when it was being displayed with a new 2010. And Thanks!

Yup, those guys rocked the houndstooth in the 60's. I just wanted to "tip my hat" to the cars that came before mine....so I added the HT inserts as a homage. And thanks, Goat!

We actually sell the material. We also have a local upholstery shop that does KILLER work. Currently we've got houndstooth in these colors (and it takes approx. 2 square yards to do our seats): Orange/black, brown/tan, white/black, and red/black, green/black, purple-ish blue/black.

And thanks again for the kind words, fellas!

The seats were actually stock ebony leather seats and I had the centers replaced with our 100% polyester houndstooth. It's could also work with stock material too.

Don't know where you could get a patch, but you/we could get it embroidered.

    They look really nice

How much did it cost to do that? I wouldn't mind doing that myself.

Great looking seats. Something I'm definately going to consider when I start dressing my car up more.
