    Thats how I did everything, by rattle can.

    I got colormatched paint that I got online from Expresspaint and then picked up a can of high gloss clear from Autozone. Both worked excellent!

    They were a birthday present for the girl I was dating at the time. I'm pretty sure she still has them on her Hawk.

    Yeah, I think I spent maybe 2 hours sanding the SLP logo off.

    I had heard that some people had an SLP lid where the logo was just a decal that you could peel off. Mine was not like that at all and was a PITA getting it smooth! ahhah
