Motorized license plate?

Im looking for a motorized front license plate for my car. Ive seen some for Corvettes like this...

But Im not sure if this will work, anyone ever try something like this on their TA's or Camaro's? Or found something like this?

I think you would have to ask the manufacture some specs on it. They may be even to simply tell you if you can or can't. It hides pretty well on the vet, I dont think it will so much on our cars, it would have to retract pretty far.

Seems like a really good idea though, makes me greatful MI doesn't require them.

Im just hoping if I get this it doesnt stick out or look out of place when its not retracted. Like someone said it seems it would have to retract pretty far to look inconspicuous

i have that on my SS. it doesnt look out of place. you can't even tell its there unless you look at it from right next to it.
oh and that plate holder is really universal it will fit on any car really. i got mine from ebay a while back for 135 shipped.

not at all man its real easy. run the wires to the battery terminals, align the bracket under the bumper drill 3 holes and thats it.

i got it from ebay 135 shipped.
it will show that its for a c6, charger, 5th gen etc but they are all the same thing. this part is really universal.

search for the following "Show N Go Retractable License Plate" and like i said if it shows mustang corvette 5th gen charger etc doesnt make a difference they are all the same.

no problem and glad to see that it helped some members out seeing what it would look on 4th gens oh and you wont dissapointed.
i like seeing peoples reactions when they are walking near me and i hit the button they stop and look at it like wtf haha priceless reactions will ensure for sure.
