    Making a cowl induction hood?

    Hi all,
Has anyone ever made their own cowl hood? JEGS sells steal cowls and I was wondering if anyone ever made their own hood using one. Just and idea I was kicking around to save money and avoid fitment issues.
    thanks!
O, can some post pics of their cowl inside and out please!
    thanks!

I made my own, I used a fiberglass cowel & my stock Z28 hood. I do have a cut out on the bottom side but can't seem to find any pics. I will see if I can get some for you.
Go easy on me, cars still a work in progress lol.

Nice! I've never seen one done up with an L88 style hood.
