    LED Dome Light F-UP

F the damn DOME LIGHT! piece of crap! I can not tell you how pissed I am right now!

I bought the LEDs to finish up my interior. Why? why did i want to do it? I dunno! because all of your pictures look cool. It seems like an easy mod but of course, nothing is ever as simple as it sounds.

I DID have to bend the copper(?) prongs so that the LED would fit but my issue was that the light shined straight to the back of the car. I needed to twist it so that the light would shine down. Simple enough right? Hell no, sure enough as I had the LED on the prongs and was attempting to twist it down the left prong breaks.

I really dont know where to go from here. I took the entire Dome Light mount out. Seems like that copper piece is part of the wire or something. I don't know. If anyone has a suggestion, im up for anything at this point. Thanks

    Ryan

Something so simple, i should of just let it be. dammit

    EDIT- Figured it out

What LED bulb did you use? I'd like to replace the regular bulb in mine too. I want it to be bright without the heat.

How far back did the prong break? i installed the led dome light from superbrightleds and ended up just soldering it in in the direction i wanted... if you get a soldering iron you could probably fix the prong depending on where it broke.

The lights all look pretty good. I would put pictures on here to show you but I dont really know how. I think its because my wifes computer is an iMac or something. I dunno. I can put pictures on my cardomain site but not on the forum for some reason. I choose to try all red just and it looks great but you cant see as well as you could if they were white. I like it though.
