    LED Fog Light Bulbs

I replaced my tail, running & Signal lights with LED bulbs about 3 years ago and they all still work and I love them. I have been looking at LED replacements for the bulb that goes in the stock "Fog" lights, but didn't know if anyone had experience with those. There are tons of threads about HID, but none about LED.

The better quality LED bulb runs about $25-$30 a pair. There are adapters with resisters in them to stop flickering and error lights on the dash for about $15 a pair.

Has anyone done this and if so, any problems or suggestions?

    THANKS!

You should not need anything for the fog lights...you can just replace the bulbs. The DRL's are a different story...I have seen many threads that reference having to replace the mechanical flasher in our cars with an aftermarket one that you can pick up from just about any parts store...you just need an electronic one and you are good to go. Some people say that you can splice into the wiring for the DRL bulbs and use resistors, but the electronic flasher is the better way to go in my opinion...

I edited my post for clarification, I have LED's in the DRL / Parking / Running Lights. I did have to put a resister on one brake or turn signal light - I forget which - to keep the system from thinking I had a bulb out.

I was looking at the globular Camaro fog lights as one has went out again, and I am super tired of replacing those bulbs. I like to run with them on during the day so they only last about 6 months or so. I didn't know if I would need the resister kit for this specific car.

I was also wondering if anyone had a specific LED or vendor they had good luck with.

    Thanks!

I always get the white LED's...they look just like a true HID would look on a mercedes, audi, etc...the blue is VERY blue.

No blue, it's my favorite color but they are illegal in my state and I drive a Car, not a parade float.
