It would match better but IMHO it would just look factory since that's how all of the fronts are from GM. Good thing is I don't think either way you go is gonna take away from the car at all so it just falls on personal preference

Grille, hood and Berger panel all in flat/matte black might look good together.

yea i'm really considering it. I have never seen it and that way my car won't look exactly like yours minus the CCW SP500s and CME

You don't seem like a nut to me Hey, it took me over a year to take the red stripes off my car and I knew as soon as I bought it I didn't want them. So........ not always an easy choice and every one likes something different. For everyone that agreed with me that the stripes should come off, there were those who said I should keep them.

So, ultimately, it's your choice. Either way will look good. I know, that doesn't help much

Just paint the front flat black and leave the hood alone, then your paint guy won't be pissed and it will be different. I'm just a huge old school glossy kind of guy, I love all of my paint to look like it's still wet. But I said before, the hood looks awesome and either way you go it's not gonna take away from it. Now you can go get some sleep since you know what your gonna do

well I talked to the paint guy and he said painting the grille semi gloss would be a mistake because when bugs smash on there and I wipe/scrub it it will leave marks so it looks like that is out of the equation. he also said he can't clear over the paint that he used on the hood and Berger panel so it looks like I'm stuck with what I have

Well, I guess you had help making up your mind then

You can decide to change up your grille

I took off my stock grille, painted the area in flat black and put on a billet grille.

But, I'm going more for a black on white with chrome/polished ascents look though.

    You'll get it figured out

    That's what I'm talking about

    Flat/Satin black would go nicely.

Well, I got my grille off of ebay. It's the 69 Chevelle SS emblem that fits those grilles.

I kept the bowtie from my last Chevelle and will be putting that on my grille when I get around to it

I'd keep checking ebay for the emblem. It just bolts on with a backing to hold it in place.

I'm only finding Chevelle SS 396 emblems and bowties on ebay.

I was told that the 69 Camaro would fit. So, I bought one. But, it doesn't fit the curve of the billet grille.

Then I was told that the 69 Chevelle bowtie would. And, it does

I'm not sure which other SS emblem would fit. Maybe someone else knows
