L.E.D license plate lights??

Me and my bud have been seeing more and more cars with the bluish/white license plate lights and we both want them cuz they look good but arent sure what they are or where to buy good reliable ones. Are they just filament bulbs with blue glass or actually L.E.D's? Where to buy relaible ones and any pics of yalls would be awesome

Direct fit, they will be for every replacement if you purchase the correct one. Just becareful when you get into brake lights and turn signals, those my need to come with a resistor.

Bought mine from Pep Boys a year before I bought my GTO. I used them in my previous car and kept them after the car was totalled. Took them out of the car and put two in the GTO's kick panels and the two spares I had went into the license plate lights.

cammed goat, were they L.E.D's or what? i see that autozone has just blue peanut bulbs that fit but they are L.E.D.

they have LED lights for the license plate as well as regular ones with color. The LED will be crisp and brighter color. It will say LED on the packaging.

i got pulled over for having these ...cop said it was the wrong color for license plate light....wtf? gave me a warning and told me to get em changed....i got rid of the truck rather than change em back to the dull ass stock setup.

i want to order l.e.d.s from ebay,mainly interior and license plate lights i love how they look im not sure about the ebay lights though.thats what i like about texas,the cops are sometimes fair unlike in new orleans nopd would have gave you a ticket for something simple like that,i cant count how many warnings i got from hpd,spring,texas highway patrol

Advance has them but they're 10 bucks for 2 leds, rediculous imo

It's just not about illuminating your plate, it's preventive maintenance. Think about it, would you want an L.E.D. bulb that lasts longer than a conventional bulb? Beats going out at night and getting pulled over for unclear plates from a blown conventional bulb imo.
