    just painted calipers

well i just painted my calipers. i had nothing but towels and cardboard to coverup and spray. therefore spraying the whole caliper area and the brakepad. i hear you aren't suppose to do this... would this be okay though? what is the worst i could expect from painting the brake pads as well besides fading.. thanks.

You can't hurt the pads any more than when you brake alot . Don't worry, the paint will come off eventually and the pads are replacable lol. I did the same to my brake pads. Just make sure you let the paint cure a good amount of time before you go heating it up on the street. I'd recomend a day at least. I gave mine a weekend with all the paint I put on mine.

Also BTW did you apply a clear coat? I'd recomend it for ease of cleaning. Just a little tip...

    And any pics?

    Break or caliper cleaner.

Then a spong with the green part on it. A tooth brush to get in the hard to reach spots. And finish with 100-250 grit sand paper.

Then wash and dry. Then you paint .
