    Interior Foam

I've searched the forums and can't find anything about this topic. What I'm looking for are replacement interior foam pieces, specifically, the foam piece that goes around the inside door handle and the piece that attaches at the upper front part of the interior door panel (adjacent to the mirror). I've pulled my door apart to replace the motor and do the door panel crack fix. Thought I'd replace the old dried up torn foam while I had it apart. Anyone know where I can get some new pieces?

i'm pretty sure you can't just get the foam...if you search through GMpartsdirect.com i believe you can only obtain new door panels which are pretty FE!

maybe consider tossing some dynamat in there if you're seeking insulation?

There are many options out there. Dynamat while great can be very expensive. Send me a PM and I will be glad to link you to them. There is spray on,foam, etc... Many make insulation thinner than dynamat and lighter yet get the same performance.. But I do agree with tst why not just toss in some insulation.

I think we might be talking about different pieces of foam here. The multicolored insulation foam inside the panel I already have (its attached to the panel). I'm talking about the small black pieces that fill the empty space between the door handle and the plastic trim piece.

I think you would be able to find some high density foam and cut a piece to fit. That or not worry about it. Look at a good craft store. They have lots of types of foam. When I redid my seats I went to one to get some to repair where my side bolsters desentigrated.
