I've been lookin all over and pricing the bulbs and I can't find them anywhere for $1 (that is for the ones with the built in resistor) Were you talking about those or the ones that require you to solder them together?

I would like to replace the bulb in my dome light. Using typical 5mm LEDs, how many LEDs put together, would draw the same amout of current as the single stock bulb?

Here's my set up. I used a mix of individual LEDs as well as LED rods.

Well, first, I guess it depends where you want the lighting. For me, the simplest solution for the underseat lighting was to go with the LED light bars.

yeah i know about lightbars for larger lit areas. as im planning on using sme under my dash. i am wanting to know about the led bulbs you use IN the gauge cluster, and HVAC. i heard the cluster takes 5 #194 led bulbs. but which ones? the flat plug, with holder or with out, single led, flat top led, 2led, 3 led, 4 led and so on. and same goes for the hvac and window switches. i hear i need 4 #74bulbs. but same deal, flat plug, round plug, with or without holder or what???? thanks in advance

Ok this is awesome. i did all leds in about 20 minutes. extremly simple. i can clear things up. you do need 5 #194 led bulbs for the instrument cluster. they are a flat plug bulb. you take the cluster out. unscrew the holder pull the bulb out, and put the led in, and screw it back in. same goes for the hvac and switches. you need 4 #74's also a flat plug. take the pieces apart pull bulb out plug led in. put together and enjoy. i love my car all over again. haha. the blue is sooooo intense!! yay
