How do you install white gauges
I want to install white face gauges on my 01Z28, how easy or hard is it. What do i have to remove to pull out the instrument cluster.

one quick question though, do you disconnect the batter to do this install because of the airbag and how do you re install the needles meaning at what mph do you tach on the needle when your putting it back and also the other needles do you just put them on Zero or take a picture of were they were and tach them back on exactly as they were.

I have no idea. I haven't done this mod yet. I did take my clear bezel off just to put a decal on the tach area but, that is about all I have ever done.
Will eventually tackle this mod too but, not as of yet.

Which white gauges did you get? I just installed a set of Macewen gauges. I did not remove the battery. I removed the entire cluster gauge and separated the lens from the cluster. The gauges do not need to have the needles removed.
These are the ones I have. This is their install write up.

So i take it that the vinyl overlay one that sticks to your gauges is the best one. I used a glossy one that you put over your original one on my 93Z and the needles would stick to it. Also is there a specific one to get that you dont have to take off nor touch your needles on your gauges.

Anyone got the reverse glow ones from ebay?
They came with a custom switch sort of to turn them on?

thought about em but, wanted to make sure I went with a reputable company.
Heard nothing but good things about Macewen in multiple threads up here so, I went with them.
