Meguiars makes a product called PlastX, its in a white bottle. It runs about $4, if that won't fix it, you will have to wetsand them, start with 400 grit, 800 grit, 1200, 1600, 2000.

I’ve found fine cut rubbing compound works well too. I had an SHO when I lived in AZ with yellowish faded plastic lenses from the sun, the rubbing compound worked wonders.

my right headlight had much more haze than the left did. Stuff works great if the haze is not to bad. the right headlight that was not to bad poished up great ! the left which had pretty heavy haze looks much better but still not good enough for me. maybe i will try some rubbing compound.
plastx is great if your haze is not really bad. I mean it will make it look better and for $4 u cant beat that but if u wanna get rid of it all it will take more. super product to prevent build up or if its not to bad it will poish them up good. dont know if the pics really show the difference since i looked at them 2many times lol
let me also note I am really pickie and u gotta look really hard to see any haze that is left. someone walking by at a car show probally want notice. but hey they call it detailing so i try to do it right. i did rub the sh** out of the left one to get it polished
time spent was only like 30 minutesLast edited by Speedy_Gonzales; 05-04-2007 at 05:42 PM.
