how do i fix my exterior mirror - 99 bird

so, got this 99 bird, and the glass has come off the power adjustment part. i have the glass and the little + shaped piece, but i have nothing to move the mirror.

there are 2 sockets on the back of the glass, and 2 holes in the motorized head that spin. what goes in them? gm says part is: discontinued and has no part #, my only option is an entire mirror for 200+.

i also was given a junkyard mirror from a camaro but the glass is detached on it as well, and it only came with a couple of short sheet metal looking screws, some nuts and a threaded shaft. none of which looks like it is the part i need.

so: anyone replaced just the glass / parts that move it and can tell me wtf i need to find / buy / have made to fix it? i know it has got to be a 0.25 part and i don't want to buy an entire mirror to fix it...

if anyone has pictures of the piece i need, or anything you can do to point me in the right direction, please lmk. i've searched the net for days about this with 0 results. called all the f bod parts places i could find as well

ok if im understanding this correct you are missing 2 special kinda of screws that come out of the motor and clip on the back of the plastic mirror piece. They clip in the 2 holes on the back of the plastic piece. Am i correct?
