Stock WS.6 hood or the WS9 hood.

I don't care for that Mecham hood at all.
Raptor doesn't do it for me either.

I voted for the VFN as well. The mecham looks good, I've seen it in person, but there are so many quality issues with them that I wouldn't reccomend it at all

guys I REALLY APPRECIATE everyones vote & comments.

any thoughts about this Mecham hood? I've heard here and there that the quality sucks, but what kind of problems are we talking about?

problem for me the Raptor/Firehawk hood doesn't look mean enough on the car, kinda reminds me of just the stock hood with curves. and I don't like how the stripes look on them. the WS6 hood is almost a little too common for me. I guess with the heat extractors and 30th anniversary stripes it won't be that common but now I've been looking at the SLP hood and I'm starting to like it. I'll probably start a new poll to help further my decision

I personally think the Mecham looks cheesy and is a hands down big no no, for me.

The WS9..jesus, I was thinking about it today. I really like that look. Its not trying to hard to stand out, but its a different look.

WS6? I didnt see that in the poll..all I saw was the WS9, Raptor, and Mecham. The Raptor reminds me too much of a stock hood. Which is fine, but it depends how much money youre forking out just to fit in with the rest of the crowd.

EDIT: Oh now I know what you meant by the WS6. Hmm...gosh, Id say the ws9 just makes it over the raptor hood. BUT. If the raptor hood is $100 or more cheaper, then Id go with that one instead..if the quality is good.

mecham hoods tend to need a lot of prep before install and paint and they've had issues with cracking around the heat extractors and the fiberglass peeling or cracking around the edges

Generally they are a pile of sh!t. I had one and will never buy another thing from Dennis. The hood was a piece of cr@p and started to sperate and bubble. When I called Dennis about it, he basically said he did not believe me and I would have to prove it. I sent him numerous detailed pics and after that he basically told me to fvck off and that it was my problem. Great customer service, quality product, and excellent comapny.
