Hood birds??

OK I have a weird question. On the older firebirds the bird logo on the hood have fire coming out of there mouths. All the newer or 4th generation hood birds I have been seeing don't have the fire. Did they change that??? I know they changed the direction of the head but not sure about the fire.
Why I'm asking is because I'm about to have the paint laid on my car well on the hood I'm doing the new style bird and I can't find any pic's of the new style birds with the fire. Has anyone seen the new style birds with the fire coming out of there mouths?? If so does anyone have any pic's so I can see how it looks so I can print it off for my body/paint guy. Thanks all!

That's awesome looking but what I'm wondering if you have ever seen the new style bird with the fire coming out of the mouth. The old style 80's birds have the fire coming out of the mouths but all the new style birds don't...

Yea I tryed that and all the new style birds I'm finding don't have flames coming out of there mouth. I mean it's not a big deal I will just have to come up with some type of a design to give to my paint guy. But it just would be cool if I could find a pic of a new style bird with the flame.

I hear ya, i'm more of a camaro guy so all the birds look the same to me

One of my buddies had a custom hood bird painted onto his 01 WS6 TA somewhat like the older TA's have. Head faces to the right (as you're looking at it), has fire coming out of the beak and it spreads over both fenders. It's a black bird on a white car and while a bit gaudy (due to size) I think it looks awsome. There's no doubt as to what it is.

It's somewhat like the pic above but it spreads out over the whole hood and over the fenders.
