HID Kits
Ok, so I got a 10000k kit for my 9006 bulbs (low beams) and they're "brilliant blue". I hooked up my 10000k kit for my fogs and they're purple!?! WTF? Did they send me the wrong bulbs or is the temp diff for 894's?

Were they from the same seller? Did the packaging state 10000K for both sets? Do you have any pics? The purple ones sound like you got a 12000K kit. I have 10000K 9006 for lowbeams and 10000K H4 for my fog light replacements (Hella Micro DEs). Here are some pics of my setup.

Different seller for the fogs. But he listed them as blue & when they came, it even said in the instruction booklet that 10000k = Purple.

PIAA makes a great replacement bulb for stock lights i believe the highest you can get them in is 4000K, ive been running them in my truck and Camaro and am very impressed with the results

HID low beams

In your pics the fogs look more blue than the headlights. The headlights look a little purple. Different vendors would explain it. Usually 10000K and up is more purple. Either get another set of fogs from the same vendo as the headlight bulbs or leave it as is. I seriously doubt that you will beusing your fogs and low beams on most of the time.

HIDs need more power when they are first turned on. The factory wiring is not capable of providing that power. There are various types of relay harness which get power from the battery to the HIDs. This usually solves any problems of flickering or HIDs not coming on. I have one in my camaro and my grand prix and have not had any issues with my HIDs.
