help with some damage on my ram air hood
I just picked up a oem ram air hood for 300 with a little bit of damage to the front edge by the vent holes.. looks like the damage disconnected the bottom piece just a little bit and about 1 by 2in piece of fiberglass actually came off as well... i would post some piks but figured someone could give me some general info on how i should fix this.. ive worked with fiberglass before, but i'm not sure if i should cut the damaged parts off and just start from underneath or if i can just throw a couple layers on top and bottom that way
ide appreciate the input thanks

My old hood had the same problem your describing, I think. I've never really worked with fiberglass before but on my hood i tried to just paste it up but then with time is started getting worse as it was close to the area where the hood clips down and it was starting to come off so I think your best bet would be fixing the problem from the inside as oppsed to just patching it up pics would help get the description of the problem better though

I have done some work with cheap fiberglass ebay body kits on imports that needed major work to cut and fit them with some I had to mold into the panels as well as a biberglass CME lip on a Camaro so if you post up some pics I can give you some ideas on the easiest and strongest fix.
