I've been searching to find someine to embroider the headrest son my 2001 TA. I found some old posts on this site of some excellent headrest embroidery. The guys name was Grant and I think he was Blackhawk131? Does anyone know how to get in touch with him or someone else that does that kind of work? Thanks.

Yea. Thanks. It appears that taking off and re-installing the headrest is going to be the easy part of this project! I'm still in search of someone that can do the embroidery. Grant work was awesome. He must be out of the business?

Uses your cover that's on the headrest already.

Email him, he's got a full price list. Cost is dependent on what you want done.

I am resurrecting this old thread because Grant just did my headrests. He is still very much in business. He is very easy to work with and I had no issues at all. The whole process took eight calendars days. The headrests were well worth the money IMO.

I pulled the headrest covers off the headrest, then mailed the covers to Grant. I had yellow foam headrests for a week. It is possible to remove the headrests, but it is my understanding that you will need to remove the back of the seat, then you can reach in and release the headrest chrome rods.

When I pulled the headrest covers, I noticed the foam was covered with a plastic wrap type material. Some of it was missing and I replaced it with Saran Wrap. To make it slippery again, I put baby power all over the Saran Wrap. The headrest covers went on easier. I also heated them up with a hair dryer.
